Job Title: Kitchen Porter Team Leader

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to join our team as a Kitchen Porter Team Leader. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for leading a small team of Kitchen Porters in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and catering areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily cleaning schedule and tasks for the Kitchen Porters team.
  • Operate the dishwasher and ensure the cleanliness of crockery and kitchen equipment.
  • Ensure that the kitchen and catering areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Assist with the ordering and storage of PPE and COSHH products.
  • Report any maintenance or pest issues to the Head Chef or Front of House Manager.
  • Ensure that all waste and recyclable materials are handled correctly and stored properly.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role in a professional kitchen.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
