We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Kitchen Porter Team Leader to join our team at Manpower UK. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for leading a small team of Kitchen Porters in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and catering areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Organize and supervise the Kitchen Porters team to ensure all cleaning schedules and daily tasks are completed efficiently.
- Operate the dishwasher and maintain the cleanliness of crockery and kitchen equipment.
- Ensure the kitchen and other catering areas are kept clean and meet high standards of food hygiene and health and safety.
- Provide training and induction to new staff members.
- Motivate and assess team performance.
- Ensure waste and recyclable materials are handled correctly and in line with instructions.
- Coordinate the collection and delivery of laundry.
- Work in all areas of the kitchen as needed, including food preparation and service.
Requirements:
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Experience in a similar position in a professional kitchen.
- Flexible and reliable approach to work, with willingness to do overtime when required.
