Job Title: Kitchen Porter Team Leader

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Kitchen Porter Team Leader to join our team at Manpower UK. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for leading a small team of Kitchen Porters in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and catering areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organize and supervise the Kitchen Porters team to ensure daily cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Operate the dishwasher and maintain the cleanliness of crockery and kitchen equipment.
  • Ensure the kitchen and catering areas are kept clean and meet high standards of food hygiene and health and safety.
  • Provide training and induction to new staff members.
  • Motivate and assess team performance to ensure high standards are maintained.
  • Ensure waste and recyclable materials are handled correctly and in line with instructions.
  • Assist with the preparation of fresh food and aid with plated dishes during service time.

Requirements:

  • Good time management and organization skills.
  • Experience in a similar position in a professional kitchen.
  • Flexible and reliable approach to work, with willingness to do overtime when required.
