About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Academic Expert in Human Resource Management to join our team at the University of Leicester. As a key member of the School, you will contribute to both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, with a particular focus on distance learning. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and delivering high-quality digital learning materials, as well as engaging students through lectures, seminars, and discussion boards.

You will have the opportunity to contribute to scholarship in the field of Human Resource Management, shaping the curriculum to ensure it remains at the forefront of research-led teaching. You will also engage with external stakeholders in business, policymaking, and other sectors, helping the School to maximise its impact on societal and economic wellbeing.

We are looking for someone with particular expertise in Human Resource Management, Organisational behaviour, Change Management, Employment Relations or People Analytics. This is a teaching focused role through which you will join a community of experienced teachers and interdisciplinary researchers.

About you

You will have a PhD (completed or near completion) or with equivalent relevant experience in Human Resource Management or a related field. You will have experience in designing and delivering teaching to both undergraduate and postgraduate students, including distance learning modules. A commitment to excellence and innovation in teaching, as well as the ability to engage students through a range of delivery methods, is essential.
