Job Overview

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our children's home in Nuneaton. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of providing high-quality care and support to young people in residential settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To work closely with the Registered Manager to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and OFSTED regulations.
  • To safeguard and promote the welfare and development of all young people in our care.
  • To conduct regular supervisions with senior support workers and residential support workers to identify strengths and areas for development within the team.
  • To be proactive in responding to safeguarding concerns and follow established processes to ensure the well-being of our young people.
  • To assist the Registered Manager with interviews, safer recruitment checks, and staff inductions.
  • To develop and maintain good working relationships with other professionals, including social workers, therapists, and healthcare providers.

Requirements:

  1. A minimum of 3 years' experience in residential childcare, with a focus on providing high-quality care and support to young people.
  2. A Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People or equivalent qualification.
  3. A full UK driving license, with access to a vehicle for business use.
  4. A clear DBS check, with no convictions or cautions.

Salary and Benefits:
