Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Deputy Manager to lead our children's service team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and supporting the Manager in service operations.
Main Responsibilities:
- Care Planning: Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans for children with Emotional Behavioural Disorder (EBD) and mild autism.
- Team Leadership: Lead by example, provide guidance and support to staff, and promote a positive and inclusive team culture.
- Compliance: Ensure that all relevant regulations and policies are upheld, maintaining the highest standards of care and safety.
- Safeguarding: Promote the well-being and safeguarding of children at all times, working closely with families and other professionals to achieve this goal.
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues, fostering trust and open communication.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a children's service, preferably with expertise in EBD and autism care.
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of EBD and autism care principles, including assessment, planning, and intervention strategies.
- PASSION: A genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of children and their families.
What We Offer:
- Competitive Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
- Generous Holidays: 22 days annual leave + 8 bank holiday days.
