Job Overview:
We are seeking an exceptional Deputy Manager to lead our children's service team at Core Group. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and support to children with Emotional Behavioural Disorder (EBD) and mild autism.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Leadership: Provide inspirational leadership to the children's service team, promoting a positive and inclusive team culture.
  2. Care Planning: Collaborate with the Manager and other stakeholders to develop and implement individualized care plans for children with EBD and mild autism.
  3. Compliance: Ensure that all relevant regulations and policies are met, maintaining the highest standards of care and safety.
  4. Safeguarding: Implement and monitor effective safeguarding practices to protect children from harm and promote their overall well-being.
  5. Family Support: Build and maintain strong relationships with children, families, and other professionals to create a supportive community environment.

Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a children's service, preferably with expertise in EBD and autism care.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of EBD and autism care principles, including assessment, planning, and intervention strategies.
  • PASSION: A genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of children and their families.

What We Offer:
  • Salary: £39,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • Holidays: 22 days annual leave + 8 bank holiday days.
  • Free Parking: On-site parking available for all staff members.
  • Bank Holiday Pay: £5 per hour extra pay for work on bank holidays.
