About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Adult Care Trainer to join our team at HIT Training. As an Adult Care Trainer, you will play a vital role in developing the next generation of care professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver training programs for apprentices in adult care settings, ensuring they receive the highest quality education and support.
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans to meet the unique needs of each apprentice, promoting their growth and development.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to apprentices, helping them to achieve their qualifications and become confident in their roles.
  • Build strong relationships with employers, providing feedback on the progress of their apprentices and working collaboratively to ensure their success.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, incorporating this knowledge into your training programs to ensure they remain relevant and effective.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Care Manager, Registered Manager, or Deputy Care Manager, with a strong track record of success in adult care.
  • A Level 5 qualification in Adult Care (or equivalent), with a deep understanding of the sector and its challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with apprentices, employers, and colleagues.
  • A valid driving license and access to a vehicle for travel within the region.
  • A willingness to work towards Level 2 (GCSE) qualifications in English and maths, with support provided to achieve this goal.
