About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Adult Care Trainer to join our team at Connect2Care. As a Trainer, you will play a vital role in developing the next generation of care professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with apprentices in care homes and online, sharing your knowledge and industry experience to train and develop their skills.
  • Tailor learning plans to meet the needs of each apprentice, ensuring they receive the support they need to succeed.
  • Support apprentices' development by teaching them the importance of English and maths in their care roles, helping them with functional skills as required.
  • Build relationships with employers and provide feedback on how their apprentices are progressing.
  • Mentor your learners through face-to-face visits, online sessions, and ongoing guidance, helping them achieve their qualifications and become confident in their roles.
Requirements
  • Experience as a Care Manager, Registered Manager, or Deputy Care Manager.
  • A Level 5 qualification in Adult Care (or equivalent).
  • Strong technology skills and the ability to manage administrative tasks efficiently.
  • A valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle for travel within your region.
  • A willingness to work towards Level 2 (GCSE) qualifications in English and maths, with support provided.
