As a SEMH teaching assistant, you will form a critical part of the inclusion team, working closely with the pupil, teachers, and other support staff to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Job Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Experience working with students with behavioural challenges and some recent SEN experience
  • A valid DBS certificate on the update service or willingness to obtain one
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with pupils, teachers, and other stakeholders
