Job Summary

Constable Country Medical Practice is seeking an experienced and qualified phlebotomist/healthcare assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will support our nursing team at our East Bergholt & Capel St Mary Surgeries, working up to 30 hours per week.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist the practice clinical team in providing patient care, adhering to practice guidelines and protocols.
  • Collect blood samples, ensuring correct storage, labelling, and dispatching.
  • Ensure patient comfort and confirm their agreement to blood collection.
  • Verify patient identification and notify the GP of any significant issues.
  • Liaise with administrative team members.
