Housing Income Officer

We are seeking a skilled Housing Income Officer to join our team until April 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in the public sector and contribute to the recovery of debts. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the recovery of housing income, overpaid housing benefit, and sundry debts.

The ideal candidate will have experience in debt management, benefits systems, and housing knowledge. Additionally, knowledge of the Northgate system and local government experience would be an asset.

The role involves contacting customers, setting up and monitoring payment agreements, and taking recovery action where arrangements fail. The successful candidate will also be responsible for handling incoming calls and ensuring timely and correct information is gathered to support the court process.
