We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our vibrant Camden school community. As an HLTA, you will play a pivotal role in delivering engaging lessons, supporting teachers, and ensuring every student receives the support they need.

About the Role
  • The ideal candidate will possess a HLTA qualification or equivalent experience, with relevant experience supporting Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2 students.
  • Strong communication skills and adaptability are essential for this position, as well as a commitment to safeguarding.

We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, reflecting the importance of this role in shaping the educational journey of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead Small Group Lessons: Conduct focused group sessions to reinforce key concepts and enhance student understanding.
  2. Classroom Support: Collaborate with teachers to deliver lessons and provide targeted assistance, adapting to various learning styles.
  3. 1:1 Support: Provide one-on-one support to students with additional needs, fostering their progress and engagement.
  4. Behavioural Guidance: Help maintain a positive and orderly learning environment, using supportive techniques to encourage positive behavior.
  5. Assessment and Feedback: Assist in assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and helping to adapt learning plans where needed.
