At Supporting Education Group, we are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead our product development and technology strategy. As our Director of Product and Technology, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation, enhancing user experience, and leveraging technology to optimise our recruitment processes.

You will be at the forefront of revolutionising the recruitment landscape, shaping our digital products to enhance the experience for both educators and educational institutions. By streamlining recruitment processes, you will make a significant impact on the lives of countless students and teachers. Your work will not only drive our success but also contribute to the broader mission of improving education through efficient staffing solutions.

About the Role

  • Visionary Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive product and technology strategy aligned with business goals; build and mentor a high-performing team of product managers, engineers, and designers, fostering a culture of innovation.
  • Product & Technology Innovation: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring market relevance and user value; lead the implementation of robust software solutions and emerging technologies to optimise recruitment processes.
  • Stakeholder Synergy: Collaborate with executive leadership and key stakeholders to align product initiatives with business objectives; maintain relationships with clients, tech partners, and industry influencers and gather valuable insights and drive product enhancements;
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Establish KPIs to evaluate product performance and technology effectiveness; utilise analytics to drive continuous development, optimise product offerings, and enhance user satisfaction.
  • Resource Optimisation: Manage the product and technology budget efficiently to support strategic initiatives; implement cost-effective measures to maximise return on development and technology investments.
  • Compliance & Risk Champion: Ensure all products and solutions adhere to relevant regulations and industry standards including privacy and security; identify risks and implement mitigation plans as necessary.

  • $120,000 - $180,000 per annum salary package, dependent on experience, plus an opportunity to participate in an EBT share scheme.
