Transforming the Future of Climate Response

Nesta, a world-leading innovation foundation, is seeking an exceptional Chief Innovation Officer for Climate Solutions to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead our Climate Response priority area, driving impactful innovation and sustainable change.

About the Role:

We are looking for a seasoned innovator with a strong track record of leading teams and delivering at pace. As Chief Innovation Officer for Climate Solutions, you will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic plan to drive climate response innovation, leveraging your expertise in science, technology, and policy.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Innovation Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive innovation strategy for Climate Response, identifying opportunities for prizes, funding, and partnerships.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of Senior Programme Managers and Programme Managers, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure their success.
  • Thought Leadership: Contribute to Nesta's thought leadership on climate response innovation, engaging with stakeholders, and maintaining a strong understanding of emerging trends and opportunities.
  • Partnerships and Collaboration: Foster and maintain relationships with key partners, including government agencies, philanthropists, businesses, and foundations, securing funding and resources to support prize delivery.

What We Offer:

This is a full-time role based in London, Blackfriars, with a hybrid working arrangement. The salary band for this position is £75,400 - £85,300 per annum, plus an array of benefits, including private medical insurance, dental insurance, and more.
