About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Anaesthetist to join our team at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust. As a Consultant Anaesthetist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality anaesthetic care to patients across our three hospital sites in Worcestershire.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert anaesthetic care to patients, including emergency and elective procedures
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and guidelines
- Participate in teaching and training of medical and nursing staff
- Engage in clinical audit and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Full GMC registration with a Licence to Practise
- Entry on the GMC Specialist Register in Anaesthesia (or expected within 6 months of interview date)
- Experience in anaesthetic subspecialties, including emergency and elective procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
