About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Planner to join our team at Wolverine Worldwide. As an Inventory Planner, you will be responsible for owning and managing inventory levels, ensuring accurate forecasting, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management
    • Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs.
    • Monitor and analyze inventory levels, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Forecasting
    • Build accurate forecasts of inventory needs, taking into account sales trends, seasonality, and other market factors.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on inventory levels and forecasts.
  • Supply Chain Optimization
    • Identify opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
    • Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce lead times, and improve delivery performance.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Develop and maintain accurate and timely reports on inventory levels, forecasts, and supply chain performance.
    • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to leadership.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
    • 2+ years of experience in inventory management, supply chain planning, or a related field.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other supply chain software.
