SEND Teaching Assistant Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team as a dedicated 1:1 support worker for a child with special educational needs. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity based in Lincolnshire.
Salary and Benefits:The successful candidate can expect a salary of £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits.
Job Description:- Provide individualised support to a child with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), ensuring their unique learning needs are met.
- Assist the child in accessing the curriculum and participating fully in classroom activities.
- Support the child's social, emotional, and behavioural development, promoting independence and self-esteem.
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to develop tailored strategies for the child's specific needs.
- Contribute to the development and review of the child's learning plan and progress reports.
- Experience working with children with special educational needs, ideally within a 1:1 support role.
- Ability to build rapport with children, ensuring they feel safe, supported, and motivated.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping children with additional needs thrive.
- A proactive approach and ability to adapt to the child's changing needs.
