Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced NDT Inspector to join our team as a Contractor within our Pipeline Group. As an NDT Inspector, you will be responsible for carrying out inspections in our Global Weld Development Centre (GWDC) and coordinating inspection activities as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and Coordinate NDT Inspections: Develop and execute NDT inspection plans to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Carry Out Inspections on the Shop Floor: Conduct inspections on the shop floor as required, ensuring accurate and timely results.
  • Coordinate Day-to-Day Requirements: Coordinate day-to-day requirements for inspection, including WPQT, AUTV, R&D of seeded defects, welder test with GWDC staff and subcontractors as required.
  • Interface with NDT Subcontractors: Interface with NDT subcontractors as required to ensure that all examinations are completed in a timely manner.
  • Review and Approve Reports: Review and approve reports by NDT subcontractors, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Supervise NDT Inspections: Supervise NDT inspections carried out by Level 1 and 2 NDT Inspectors as required.
  • Assist in AUT Validation: Assist in the AUT Validation process for project work.
  • Review and Validate Subcontractor Procedures: Review and validate subcontractor procedures for approval by Company Level 3 as required.
  • Support NDT Developments: Support NDT developments and assist with practical aspects of procedure development for new techniques.
  • Support Equipment Maintenance: Support the upkeep, maintenance, and compliance of NDT equipment and RT enclosures.Requirements:
    • Education and Qualifications: PCN Level 2: UT, RT, MT, PT, ToFD, PAUT.
    • Experience: Experience in Pipeline Girthweld inspection using AUT preferred.
