We are seeking an experienced NDT Inspector / Senior NDT Inspector to join our team as a Contractor within our Pipeline Group. The successful candidate will be based at our facility and will be responsible for carrying out inspections in the Global Weld Development Centre (GWDC) and coordinating inspection activities as required.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement and coordinate NDT inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Carry out inspections on the shop floor as required, utilizing advanced equipment and techniques.
- Coordinate day-to-day requirements for inspection, including working with GWDC staff and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of examinations.
- Interface with NDT subcontractors to ensure that all examinations are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Review and approve reports by NDT subcontractors, ensuring that all documentation meets company standards.
- Supervise NDT inspections carried out by Level 1 and 2 NDT Inspectors, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Assist in the AUT Validation process for project work, ensuring that all procedures meet company requirements.
- Review and validate subcontractor procedures for approval by Company Level 3, ensuring that all procedures meet industry standards.
- Support NDT developments and assist with practical aspects of procedure development for new techniques, staying up-to-date with industry advancements.
- Support the upkeep, maintenance, and compliance of NDT equipment and RT enclosures, ensuring that all equipment is in good working order.Requirements:
- Experience in Pipeline Girthweld inspection using AUT is preferred.
