We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious individual to join our team as a Sales Assistant at Majestic Wine Haywards Heath. As a key member of our store team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maximize sales opportunities and support the team in meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Deliver market-leading customer service to drive business growth through customer loyalty and repeat purchases.
  • Offer a VIP concierge service to customers, actively contacting them with updates on products and tastings.
  • Sell the story, not the discount, by demonstrating and sharing your passion for our product range.
  • Take ownership of your wine knowledge, constantly learning about our products to support your WSET qualification and confidence in selling.
  • Take accountability and pride in the physical appearance and maintenance of your store, both internally and externally.
  • Participate in all operational tasks required for the day-to-day running of the store, including delivering wine to customers, merchandising stock deliveries, and calling valued customers to drive sales opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the operational running of the store and feed ideas back to your wider team for implementation.
  • Ensure compliance, safety, and legality by following internal policies, processes, and completing mandatory training.
  • Be an example of Majestic's Ways of Working and a source of support for more junior team members, feeding back to your Store Manager as appropriate.
  • As a key holder, you will understand the opening and closing compliance and be confident to operate the store without your management team.
