Key Responsibilities- Maximise sales opportunities and support the team in meeting and exceeding targets through focused KPI delivery
- Deliver market-leading customer service to drive business growth through customer loyalty and repeat purchases
- Offer a VIP concierge service to customers, actively contacting them with updates on products and tastings
- Sell the story behind our products, demonstrating and sharing your passion for wine with customers
- Take ownership of your wine knowledge, constantly learning about our products to support your WSET qualification and confidence in selling
- Take pride in the physical appearance and maintenance of your store, both internally and externally
- Contribute to the day-to-day operational running of the store, including delivering wine to customers, merchandising stock deliveries, and calling valued customers to drive sales opportunities
- Identify opportunities to improve the operational running of the store and implement solutions with your team
- Ensure compliance, safety, and legality by following internal policies and completing mandatory training
- Be an example of Majestic's Ways of Working and a source of support for more junior team members
- Excellent time-management, delegation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to deliver exceptional customer experience and service to every customer
- Self-motivated and able to thrive when working alone and as part of a team
- Can-do attitude with a passion for seeing problems through to solutions
- Adaptable and resilient to meet the demands of our business
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Wine knowledge is beneficial, but passion to learn more is essential to pass level 2 WSET wine qualifications
- Full UK/EU/EEA driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points
