The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our team. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in driving sales performance and delivering exceptional customer service. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the store team to achieve sales targets and drive business growth
- Providing outstanding customer service and experience to every customer
- Maximising sales opportunities and delivering exceptional market-leading customer service
- Developing and maintaining in-depth knowledge of our wine range to provide expert advice to customers
- Contributing to the day-to-day operational running of the store, including merchandising, stock deliveries, and customer communication
- Identifying opportunities to improve store operations and implementing solutions to optimise performance
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, processes, and training requirements
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent time-management, delegation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to deliver exceptional customer experience and service to every customer
- Self-motivation and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Adaptable and resilient approach to meet the demands of our business
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Wine knowledge is beneficial, but a passion to learn and develop your skills is essential
- A full UK/EU/EEA driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points
