Majestic Wine is the UK's largest specialist wine retailer, with a network of stores nationwide. We're seeking a Sales Assistant to join our team, supporting store performance and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive store performance by maximising sales opportunities and supporting the team to meet and exceed targets.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, driving business growth through customer loyalty and repeat purchases.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of our wine range, offering customers a VIP concierge service and actively contacting them with updates on products and tastings.
  • Sell the story, not the discount, demonstrating and sharing your passion for product with customers.
  • Take ownership of your wine knowledge, constantly learning about our products to support your WSET qualification and confidence in selling.
  • Take accountability and pride in the physical appearance and maintenance of your store, both internally and externally.
  • Contribute to operational tasks, including delivering wine to customers, merchandising stock deliveries, and calling valued customers to drive sales opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the operational running of the store, feeding ideas back to your team for implementation.
  • Ensure compliance, safety, and legality by following internal policies and completing mandatory training.
  • Be an example of Majestic's Ways of Working and a source of support for junior team members, feeding back to your Store Manager as appropriate.
