Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Services Engineer to join our team in the North of England. As a key member of our Building Services Team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality mechanical services solutions on a variety of projects.

Austin Fraser is a leading building design consultancy with a strong presence in the North of England. The company offers a comprehensive range of services, including building surveying, civil & structural engineering, and highways engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce detailed mechanical services designs, specifications, and drawings using industry-standard software.
- Undertake feasibility reports, condition surveys, and contract administration tasks.
- Supervise and monitor the installation of building services systems and ensure commissioning management and maintenance procedures are in place.
- Carry out project design and complete H&S risk assessments to meet current CDM regulation requirements.
Requirements:
- Degree or HNC in Building Services/Mechanical Engineering.
- Ideal experience with MCIBSE certification.
- Excellent knowledge of mechanical services and ability to produce plans, sections, and detailed drawings to high standards.
- Ability to work confidently with Autodesk AutoCAD and NBS software.
- Knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts.
- Fully qualified and experienced in supervising and monitoring mechanical installation work on site.
