Specialist SEMH Support Teacher

At GSL Education - Chelmsford, we are seeking a dedicated Specialist SEMH Support Teacher to join our team.
About the RoleWe require an experienced and passionate teacher who can provide tailored support to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who wants to make a real difference in the lives of their students.
- Provide individualized support to students with SEMH needs.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement interventions to improve student outcomes.
- Contribute to the development of a nurturing and inclusive school environment.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid teaching qualification (e.g., QTS or equivalent).
- Experience working with students with SEMH needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A strong understanding of child protection and safeguarding procedures.
We offer a competitive daily rate of £90-120, depending on experience, plus opportunities for professional development and career progression.
This role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks, including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
