**Job Description**

We are seeking a skilled Credit Union Accounting Professional to join our team at Capital Credit Union. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering quality services to our members by processing transactions efficiently, reconciling accounts accurately, and responding promptly to queries.

Responsibilities include processing daily banking transactions, preparing faster payment transmission files, and assisting with credit control and report preparation. The post holder will also develop a comprehensive understanding of Credit Union workings and regulatory legislation.

This position requires strong numeracy skills, keyboard proficiency, and a desire to study towards a professional financial qualification. Regular contact with the Senior Finance Officer and prioritization of daily tasks within agreed-upon guidelines are also essential.

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately £28,000, based on industry standards and location. Benefits include company pension, sick pay, and flexible working arrangements.
