Job Opportunity in Manufacturing and Industrial Sales

We are seeking an experienced sales professional to lead our internal sales team in a manufacturing and industrial environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving revenue growth, building strong relationships with clients, and developing high-performing sales teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients across the industrial and manufacturing sectors.
  • Develop and implement account plans to identify and capitalize on upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Ensure that the sales team has the necessary training and resources to offer technical expertise and advice on engineering parts.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional colleagues to ensure service delivery in line with account KPIs.

Requirements:

  • A customer-centric attitude and a proven track record in either internal sales/account management or field sales as an individual contributor.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing, customer-centric sales teams.
  • Enthusiastic personality able to foster a one-team culture.
  • Internal sales or account management experience gained within technical/industrial sectors (manufacturing, engineering, automotive, aerospace).
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and account planning and management.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious sales professional to develop their career by sharing their experience by mentoring, motivating and developing a small team of up-and-coming internal account/sales executives.

The salary for this role is approximately £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus bonus and benefits.
