Technical Sales Representative

We are seeking a skilled Technical Sales Representative to join our team in Corby. As an Internal Sales Executive, you will play a crucial role in maximising our growth potential across the food, environmental, and agricultural markets in the UK and Europe.
About the RoleThis is a hybrid role that requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills to establish new relationships with key players in the food processing industries. You will be working closely with our marketing team to identify sales opportunities and supporting the sales team with customer mapping activities.
The ideal candidate will have experience working within the food industry in a sales environment and be proficient with Microsoft Office. They must also have a proven track record of success in telesales, making dozens of dials per day.
Main Responsibilities- Work closely with our marketing team to identify key players and source new sales opportunities through inbound lead qualification.
- Outbound cold calls and emails by data (i.e. LinkedIn) and support the sales team with customer mapping activities.
- Rout qualified leads and opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure.
- Maintain and expand your database of prospects and update the CRM (SalesForce) accordingly.
- Interact with customers after sales concerning lead times for customer and any after sale services required.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Proven success within a telesales environment and experience of making dozens of dials per day.

We offer a competitive salary of £42,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, which includes a basic salary of £35,000 - £45,000 and bonus/commission up to £7,000 - £10,000 per year.
