Job Title: Outdoor Activity Leader

Join the Ultimate Activity team as an Outdoor Activity Leader and be part of an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional outdoor experiences for children.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Outdoor Activity Leader to join our team. As a key member of our Ultimate Survival program, you will be responsible for delivering a variety of bushcraft and outdoor activities, leading from the front and managing a team of instructors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and deliver activities for children aged 7-14, focusing on participation, skill development, and enjoyment.
  • Directly manage a team of staff to ensure they deliver high-quality activities and care.
  • Ensure all policies and procedures on camp are adhered to, including health and safety and safeguarding procedures.
  • Liaise with Head Office and parents on camp, providing updates and addressing any issues that arise.
  • Act as the point of contact for the Host School, ensuring the smooth running of camp.
  • Manage administrative duties on camp, including sign-in and sign-out procedures, registration, and staff rotas.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in outdoor education, with a focus on bushcraft and working with children.
  • Natural leadership skills and management experience, ideally in the outdoor education or holiday camp sectors.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to talk to parents and host school staff.
  • Good working knowledge of Ultimate Survival activities.
  • Good decision-making skills and the ability to adapt to situations.
