The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Ultimate Survival Instructor to join our team at Ultimate Activity. As an Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, structured outdoor activities and workshops to groups of children aged 7 to 14.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver engaging activities that promote participation, development, and enjoyment for children.
  • Lead groups of children through week-long courses, emphasizing teamwork, skill development, and fun.
  • Ensure the welfare and safety of children in your care, adhering to all health and safety procedures.
  • Participate in pre-camp training and contribute to setting up and packing down the Ultimate Survival Camp.
  • Take on a pastoral role as a group leader, supporting children's development and well-being.
  • Supervise children during activity times and engage with them outside of scheduled activities.
  • Represent Ultimate Activity as an ambassador, demonstrating professionalism and enthusiasm throughout the season.

Requirements

  • Enthusiastic and energetic individual with a passion for working with children and supporting their development.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with experience in outdoor education and working with children.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to lead groups of children.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Desirable: Relevant degree or equivalent experience, NGB qualification in adventurous activities, and outdoor or paediatric first aid certification.
