Job Details

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Cera Prime Care in Shaftesbury and surrounding areas. This is a unique opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of our clients, providing them with companionship, reassurance, and care.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with personal care, including continence support, washing, dressing, managing medications, cooking, and domestic tasks. You will work closely with our clients, understanding their needs and preferences to deliver tailored care services.

As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients. You will work varied shifts, including mornings, days, evenings, and nights, and be expected to maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection policies.

In addition to your regular duties, you may also participate in activities that promote social interaction, such as games, conversations, or outings. Our goal is to ensure that our clients feel comfortable, safe, and supported.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, cooking, and light housekeeping
  • Manage medications and ensure client safety
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection policies
  • Participate in activities promoting social interaction, such as games, conversations, or outings
  • Work varying shifts, including mornings, days, evenings, and nights
  • Develop a strong relationship with clients, understanding their needs and preferences
Salary and Benefits

Your salary for this role will be approximately £11-12 per hour, depending on your experience and qualifications. We offer a range of benefits, including:

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be physically fit, and able to lift heavy objects if necessary. A valid driving license and own vehicle would be beneficial but not essential.
