Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to lead our store operations and drive sales growth.

About the Role: As a Store Manager at TEMPUR UK Ltd, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the store, including daily operations, sales performance, and team management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Store Operations: Be solely responsible for all daily operations across the store, ensuring store standards and merchandise are maintained at all times.
  • Team Management: Lead and motivate your team to consistently deliver an excellent customer journey experience through quality conversations, positive attitude, excellent product knowledge, and networking skills.
  • Sales Performance: Consistently drive the store's sales performance to meet and exceed targets, analyzing management information to understand performance shortfalls and market changes.
  • Stock Control: Manage all aspects of stock control, from execution in store to loss prevention measures, ensuring team work and effective deployment of management and colleague's hours.
  • Customer Service: Be able to deal with customer concerns in a patient and helpful manner, communicating concerns to the Division Manager.
  • Operational Compliance: Ensure the operational compliance of the store and H&S aspects through timely and accurate implementation of all company Health & Safety, Administrative, and Security directives.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and orderly environment in the store and back office/kitchen areas.

Requirements:

  • Management Experience: At least 2 years' demonstrable management experience gained within a premium brand and a passion for developing teams with a sense of responsibility and commitment to excellence.
  • Customer Focus: Customer-focused with a proven high standard of customer service delivery.
  • Commercial Awareness: Commercial awareness and reaction, driven to deliver and exceed sales results.
  • Leadership: Be a role model and lead by example, operating with honesty and integrity, demonstrating respect, leadership capabilities, and regularly exceeding expectations.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the business.
