We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Programme Coordinator to join our team at Brook Street Social Care. As a Programme Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting and delivering a programme of participation activities/sessions for young people aged between 16-24.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Supporting and delivering the programme of activities for young people, ensuring they provide an opportunity to develop their talents, skills, and knowledge.
- Delivering topics that may include diversity, equality, and inclusion, hate crime, personal values, and beliefs.
- Looking for and reviewing events for the young people to attend and engage with in the local community.
- Helping to raise the profile of the young people by establishing relationships with local community services.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A background in Youth Work or experience of working with and setting up learning programmes for young people.
- A creative flair and the ability to engage with and encourage positive outcomes for young people.
- Flexibility in your work, as this role will require an element of day support, evenings, and some weekends.
- Excellent communication skills, both orally and written.
- Resilience and proactivity, with a firm but fair approach.
