Quality Manager Job Description

At Morgan Ryder Associates, we are seeking a highly skilled Quality Manager to join our team. As a Quality Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a quality strategy that drives continuous improvement, reduces waste, and enhances product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Operations team to develop and implement a quality strategy that drives continuous improvement, reduces waste, and enhances product quality.
  • Train and empower a team of three to embrace robust quality control processes, ensuring compliance with ISO9001 standards.
  • Work closely with the operations team to resolve quality issues, ensuring compliance and reducing non-conformance.
  • Utilise data to refine quality strategies and report on the effectiveness of initiatives, while managing the quality and lab budget.
  • Resolve supplier issues, track performance metrics, and investigate customer complaints to implement corrective actions.

Requirements:

  • Gained quality experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical skills, project management expertise, and the ability to influence within a complex business landscape.
