Job Title: Commercial Motor Claims Handler
Job Summary:
Clark James Head Office is seeking a highly skilled and organized Claims Handler to join our Fleet and Specialist product team. As a Commercial Motor Claims Handler, you will be responsible for proactively managing a portfolio of Fleet and Specialist products in motor claims from start to settlement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Validate all claims for indemnity and fraud, ensuring accurate and timely decision-making.
- Assess liability, including communication of our decision, to ensure transparency and fairness.
- Establish and maintain effective communication with potential claimants or representatives to gather key information and update claim files.
- Accurately assess quantum claims using relevant tools and resources.
- Identify opportunities to minimize indemnity spend through commercial decision-making.
Requirements:
- Strong insurance claims background with a working knowledge of indemnity.
- Experience in PI and/or credit hire claims, commercial market awareness, and extensive working knowledge of the Pre-Action Protocol, Civil Procedure Rules & hourly rate costs.
