About the Role:

  • Join OpenSourced as an Electronics Engineer to contribute to the development of cutting-edge electrical and electronics hardware.

Key Tasks:

  1. Design, develop, and test electrical and electronics hardware to meet project requirements.
  2. Collaborate with internal teams to integrate electronics hardware into our products.
  3. Develop test plans and execute tests to ensure reliability and durability.
  4. Partner with suppliers to source high-quality components and materials.
  5. Maintain accurate records of testing and quality control processes.
  6. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product performance and efficiency.
  7. Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
  8. Support the QA team in developing and maintaining quality policies.
  9. Provide assistance to the Engineering Manager as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

  1. Strong foundation in electrical and electronics hardware design principles.
  2. Skilled in PCB assembly and rework, including LSI and fine-pitch components.
  3. Ability to create prototype boards for testing purposes.
  4. Familiarity with production environment best practices, including ESD safety procedures.

Annual Salary Range: £38,000 - £55,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
