Job Summary

We are currently looking to recruit a Reception Team Supervisor on a permanent contract to work Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the reception team during practice opening times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the reception team to provide a high-quality service to registered patients.
  • Work closely with the Practice Manager and practice team to achieve operational excellence.
  • Ensure effective communication with patients, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve patient flow and reduce waiting times.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators to inform business decisions.

Requirements

  • Primary care experience, preferably in a GP practice.
  • Experience of working with clinical systems, preferably Emis.
  • Proven ability to work under own initiative and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and manage difficult situations.
