Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Practice Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our reception team during practice opening hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the reception team to provide excellent patient care and support.
- Work closely with the Practice Manager and practice team to achieve operational excellence.
- Develop and implement effective systems and processes to improve patient experience and staff productivity.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care and services.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
Requirements
- Primary care experience, preferably in a GP practice setting.
- Experience working with clinical systems, preferably Emis.
- Proven ability to work under own initiative, identify potential challenges, and develop action plans.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing demands.
Person Specification
- GCSE or NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience or above.
- Primary care experience.
