Our client, an established industrial manufacturing business, is seeking an experienced EHS professional to drive improvements across process-based industrial manufacturing environments.
About the RoleAs a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will engage at all levels of the business, promoting a positive culture through strong leadership and high-levels of engagement and best practice.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure legal compliance for health and safety in the workplace by conducting regular audits and inspections.
- Lead training with new and existing members of staff, identifying and assisting in any staff development opportunities.
- Use continuous improvement techniques to improve and sustain the health, safety & environmental performance and management system.
- Conduct incident investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective action.
- Assist in the creation, implementation, and review of Risk Assessments, safe working procedures, and method statements.
- Deliver the company Health and Safety strategy and initiatives for the site.
- Review and update company Health & Safety documentation in line with statutory obligations.
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in a Senior HSE Management role, with a demonstrable track record of driving change and implementing improvements.
- Previous experience within process-based industrial manufacturing environments.
