As a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for driving EHS improvements across our process-based industrial manufacturing environments.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring legal compliance for health and safety in the workplace by conducting regular audits and inspections. You will also lead training with new and existing members of staff, identify and assist in any staff development opportunities, and use continuous improvement techniques to improve and sustain our health, safety & environmental performance and management system.

Key Responsibilities:

* Ensure legal compliance for health and safety in the workplace by conducting regular audits and inspections
* Lead training with new and existing members of staff
* Use continuous improvement techniques to improve and sustain the health, safety & environmental performance and management system
* Ensure incident investigations are conducted in a timely manner, including root cause analysis and corrective action is undertaken
* Assist and support in the creation, implementation and review of Risk Assessments, safe working procedures and method statements
* Delivery of the company Health and Safety strategy and initiatives for the site
* Review all existing company Health & Safety documentation and update accordingly in line with statutory obligations including CDM Regulations
* Ensure all "assessments" as required by legislation are conducted and reviewed at relevant intervals
* Conduct regular health and safety inspection/audits and prepare detailed H&S audit reports
* Review of all RAMS and COSHH assessments and update where necessary
* Ensure that Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental standards are adhered to including the requirements of ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 and all matters relating to this are dealt with using the resources within the company
