Our client, a leading industrial manufacturing business, is seeking an experienced EHS professional to drive improvements across process-based industrial manufacturing environments.
As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will engage at all levels of the business, promoting a positive culture through strong leadership and high-levels of engagement and best practice.
The successful candidate will have a direct "hands-on" approach, driving Behavioural Based Safety and a "zero harm" philosophy.
We are looking for a professional with a strong background in EHS, who can drive the company's future HSE strategy and vision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure legal compliance for health and safety in the workplace by conducting regular audits and inspections.
- Lead training with new and existing members of staff, identifying and assisting in any staff development opportunities.
- Use continuous improvement techniques to improve and sustain the health, safety & environmental performance and management system.
- Conduct incident investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective action.
- Assist and support in the creation, implementation and review of Risk Assessments, safe working procedures and method statements.
- Delivery of the company Health and Safety strategy and initiatives for the site.
- Review all existing company Health & Safety documentation and update accordingly in line with statutory obligations.
Requirements:
- Hold NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in a Senior HSE Management role, with a demonstrable track record of driving change and implementing improvements.
- Previous experience within process-based industrial manufacturing environments.
