Our client, a leading industrial manufacturing business, is seeking an experienced EHS professional to drive improvements across process-based industrial manufacturing environments.
As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will engage at all levels of the business, promoting a positive culture through strong leadership and high-levels of engagement and best practice.
The EHS Manager will have a direct "hands-on" approach, driving Behavioural Based Safety and a "zero harm" philosophy.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring legal compliance for health and safety in the workplace
- Leading training and staff development opportunities
- Implementing continuous improvement techniques to improve and sustain health, safety & environmental performance
- Conducting incident investigations and root cause analysis
- Reviewing and updating risk assessments, safe working procedures, and method statements
- Delivering the company Health and Safety strategy and initiatives
