Senior Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to join our team as a key member of our global commercial leadership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and leading our agricultural business development efforts, securing new strategic partnerships, and developing commercial plans for our innovative technologies.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and secure new strategic partnerships with leading agricultural companies to develop and commercialize our innovative solutions.
- Develop and manage commercial strategies for our agricultural products, including market analysis, pricing, and sales forecasting.
- Support regulatory affairs for our emerging solutions in key markets, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and obtaining necessary approvals.
- Establish and manage go-to-market campaigns for our products in key markets, including distribution networks and sales teams.
- Conduct market analysis and develop commercial policies for all channels, including segment pricing and sales forecasting.
- Generate and manage a diverse sales pipeline and funnel process, ensuring commercial targets are met.
- Manage a well-organized Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, bringing together internal stakeholders to ensure successful product launches.
- Collaborate closely with our R&D, Operations, and Marketing teams to tailor our products and services to customer needs and gain market access.
- Maintain flexibility and a service mindset, adapting to changing business requirements and priorities.
- 10+ years of experience in senior leadership roles in business development, with a focus on new product development, commercial planning, and strategic partnerships in the agricultural industry.
- Experience in start-ups, early-stage technology companies, or with early-stage technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to forge strategic partnerships with market leaders for the development of new technologies or for advancing products to market.
- Experience developing or managing lines of business in diverse agricultural markets.
- Significant experience in developing and executing new product launch campaigns, including strategy, channel marketing, advertising, and sales.
- Leadership experience hiring and developing teams to lead regional or national commercial launches.
- Extensive experience and demonstrated success in developing commercial distribution and licensed sales models.
- Proven experience generating and managing significant commercial revenues and operations in market.
- Excellent written, presentation, and reporting skills.
- Mastery of sales tools, resources, and software to support a growing commercial operation.
- Fluency in English, with proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese a plus.
- Ability to travel nationally and internationally as required by the business.
