Key Responsibilities- Sales and Account Management: Spend 4.5 days a week calling on construction trade customers in the Bath and Bristol area, managing existing accounts and identifying new sales opportunities.
- Business Development: Focus on business development, visiting the Bath depot once a week to build internal networks and strengthen relationships with customers.
- Quote and Negotiation: Follow up all enquiries with quotes and negotiate where necessary to secure an order.
- Reporting and Analysis: Regularly report against annual sales targets and provide analysis on sales performance.
Cavendish Maine is a highly successful, award-winning, and respected local business with 40 years of successful trading history and 40% growth in the last 3 years. We supply construction industry products and services to building contractors, civil engineering firms, and general builders, and have a reputation for quality products, on-time delivery, and great customer service.
Key Requirements- At least 3 years of field sales experience in the construction products sector.
- Living in the Bath/Bristol area.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with customers at all levels.
- A proven track record of field sales achievement and success.
- Friendly, sociable, and a great team player.
Basic salary £35,000 - £40,000. 1% commission on all new revenue. 15% bonus for achieving target. £4,200 car allowance. Pension scheme. 25 days holiday.
