Art Historical Research Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Art Historical Research Specialist to join our team at Halcyon. As a leader in the modern art world, we strive to uncover exceptional talent and creativity.
In this role, you will be responsible for researching artworks, clients, sourcing, and performing provenance checks. Your expertise will be utilised in writing academically, with experience of writing for web being highly advantageous.
You will work closely with senior staff to ensure that all research is accurate and up-to-date. Your excellent interpersonal and written communication skills will be essential in liaising with experts and institutions.
Please note that a BA and MA in History of Art are essential requirements for the role. We cannot consider candidates without these qualifications.
Key responsibilities include:
- Researching artworks and clients
- Sourcing and verifying information
- Performing provenance checks
- Writing academic content
- Liaising with experts and institutions
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years' experience working in the art industry and hold a Master's degree in History of Art. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are also essential.
We offer a competitive salary range of £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, dependent on experience, and a collaborative work environment. Please note that we do not provide visa sponsorship for this role.
