This is a unique opportunity to join the Clinical Psychology leadership team at Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust, where you will play a key role in overseeing the Clinical Psychology provision in your designated area. The Clinical Psychology team comprises experienced professionals who work together to provide high-quality care to patients with complex mental health conditions.

As a Senior Clinical/Counselling Psychologist, you will contribute to the planning, development, and evaluation of perinatal mental health services, utilizing your advanced clinical leadership skills and knowledge to provide training and consultancy in clinical psychology. You will work closely with other health and social care staff to deliver evidence-based interventions and ensure that patients receive safe, effective, and culturally competent care.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building community links, referral pathways, and providing clinical assessments and evidence-based interventions in their designated area. You will also oversee the Clinical Psychology caseload of the South sub-team and the East sub-team, working closely with another 8a Clinical Psychologist already in post in each sub-team.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • Doctoral level clinical/counselling psychologist
  • HCPC registration
  • Experience in perinatal or child and family work
  • MDT working experience
  • Post-doctoral training in evidence-based psychological therapy
