About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our dynamic team at NELFT NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Adult Autism service, you will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide expert assessments and interventions for individuals with autism and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological assessments and develop personalized intervention plans
  • Manage a caseload of clients with autism, ensuring timely and effective treatment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement evidence-based treatment protocols
  • Provide training and supervision to junior staff members and students
  • Contribute to service development and improvement initiatives
Requirements
  • Doctoral-level training in clinical psychology or equivalent
  • Experience working with adults and children with autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders
  • Strong assessment and treatment skills, with ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and service development
