Senior Fellow in Rheumatology

University Hospital Southampton NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced rheumatology specialist to join our team. As a Senior Fellow in Rheumatology, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our rheumatology department.
Main DutiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for running outpatient clinics in rheumatology, reviewing inpatients, and providing advice to GPs and secondary care specialists. You will also be encouraged to supervise junior doctors, participate in our education program, and develop skills in musculoskeletal ultrasound and research.

Person SpecificationThe successful candidate will possess a primary medical qualification, GMC registration, and MRCP Part 1. Desirable qualifications include MRCP Part 2, previous experience in postgraduate rheumatology, and experience in MSK ultrasound, research, and teaching.
