Senior Technical Manager & Paraplanner (STM&P)

Churchill Executive is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Manager & Paraplanner to join their team. As a key member of the financial planning department, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of para-planning work and providing expert advice to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of para-planning work produced by paraplanners and outsourced para-planners.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for queries related to para-planning work.
  • Receive and implement instructions from meeting notes and tasks provided by financial planners.
  • Interpret data obtained during client meetings and collaborate with planners to establish accurate recommendations.
  • Analyse client and provider data, utilizing research tools to provide tailored solutions.
  • Compose suitability letters and financial planning reports that meet client objectives.
  • Provide all necessary appendices, illustrations, applications, and key features documentation.
  • Implement agreed actions from authority to proceed notifications, including fee management and investment allocation.
  • Ensure annual ISA reporting for clients who utilize ISA allowances.
  • Participate in investment committee meetings and contribute to strategic decision-making.
  • Maintain continuous professional development to stay up-to-date with legislation and product changes.
  • Adhere to the 6-step financial planning process.
Requirements
  • Ideal candidates will hold GCSEs in Mathematics and English and possess the Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent.
  • Excellent IT skills and a strong telephone manner are essential.
  • Continuing professional development is necessary to develop skills and knowledge.
